Kristen Tassin is a lifelong storyteller whose childhood dreams were fueled by her dad's constant belief in her imagination. However, her writing journey was delayed due to grief, self-doubt, and struggles with dysgraphia. After nearly twenty years, her love for reading finally ignited her passion for writing. During the pandemic, she found the time to write a young adult fantasy novel, which is currently unpublished. During this time, she was living with and caring for her elderly mother, and they spent many days together, laughing and making memories while watching Hallmark movies. Her mom fostered a new passion in Kristen for heartwarming romances. After watching so many, she started dreaming up her own. Just like her mom always requested, Kristen finally started writing a sweet romance for her mom. Her mom's final moments were chuckling out loud while reading the first few pages of Kristen's debut novel, "Christmas in Cypressville," this moment fueled Kristen's path as a sweet small-town romance writer despite the sadness and heartbreak.
